7 Days to Day has released a brand new 2.0 update, and with it comes many new changes that offer a new challenge to surviving this zombie apocalypse.
Biome Hazards and Challenges

Some of the biggest changes made in the new update are how they reworked the biomes, as they now feature new environmental hazards that were not seen in previous updates. The burnt forest, the Desert, the snow, and the wasteland all have new weather and environmental hazards that make it harder to progress in these areas without completing the new biome challenges. These new biome challenges keep players from exploring later game areas too early. After completing all challenges for a specific biome you will unlock a biome badge that will remove the hazards from that biome, as well as unlock the challenge for the next biome.
New Storm System

Another big change to the game is that it now feature storms that are unique to each of the four biomes. In the burnt forest you can encounter the ember storm, in the desert biome there is the sand storm, in the snow biome you can find the snow storm, and the wasteland features the radiation storm. These storms will damage the players health if they are caught in them, but you can avoid taking damage from the storms is you seek shelter. There is a 60 second warning before the storm starts that allows players to look for shelter before they start taking damage.
New Unique Zombies

In addition to the previously mentioned changes, there are also new unique zombies. The first of these is the frost claw, which can only be found in the snow biome. These brutes are larger than your typical zombies and have a unique attack where they throw large rocks at you. The plague spitter zombie has also been added and can be found exclusively in the desert biome. These zombies spit out a swarm of insects that chase you down, dealing damage every second. There are also two new types of radiated zombies that can be found in the later stages of the game. The charged blue zombies are both faster and stronger than the pervious tier green radiated zombies and the infernal Orange zombies, which are slower but they have more health and do more damages to blocks.
These are just some of the many changes added in the 7 Days to Die 2.0 update. I highly encourage you check out this game if you are a fan of zombie survival games, and if you have played this is an excellent time to return to the zombie apocalypse.
