The Rewinder is a unique and immersive gaming experience created by Misty Mountain Studio, that has heavy connections to ancient Chinese folklore. The Rewinder is an incredible 2D puzzle game that features a gripping mystery that kept me interested the entire time. The game is currently free for Gamepass Ultimate subscribers, and is defiantly worth your time if you own it. The story and culture around this game is what makes it stand out from the other puzzle games available on Xbox. The puzzles in this game also feel very unique and different from many other puzzle games, with many of them having connections to the Chinese culture. The premise for the game is what really interested me, as you play as an investigator who can rewind time. It from this rewinding time ability that we get many of puzzles and mystery mechanics. These sections where you are using your ability to go back in time and help people is by far my favorite part of the game as the puzzles do not feel too hard or too easy, but are the perfect level of difficulty, so that it does not take you out of the story. I believe that Rewinder is one of the best puzzle/mystery games available on Gamepass and would defiantly recommend it to those looking for unique experience.
