That Gun is one of the best early game weapons in Fallout New Vegas, as it packs a big punch for its little size. That Gun’s design based on the design for the 12.7mm pistol but That gun instead fires 5.56, a much more common ammo type, especially for the beginning of the game. That Gun has a base damage stat of 30, but where this gun really shines is its 2.5 critical hit multiplier. If you are running a luck build, which I always recommend for New Vegas, you can score many critical hits that do even more damage. This is certainly a gun you want at your side as you traverse the dangers of the Mojave Wasteland.

In order to get That Gun you will have to venture to the town of Novac. To get to Novac you will need to follow the road south from Good Springs until you reach Nipton Road Rest stop. From here continue to follow the road east past Nipton till you reach Wolfhorn Ranch then take the road north and you will end up in Novac.

Once in Novac, one of the first things you will notice is a giant T-rex statue. If you head inside the statue you are met by Cliff Briscoe, the owner of Dino Bite Gift Shop and That gun.

That gun can either be purchased from Cliff, but the better option is to simply sneak behind him and pick the very easy locked door behind him once inside shut the door and steal That gun which is hiding behind the rocket souvenirs on the right middle shelf.
